We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a talented and dynamic Restaurant Support Trainer that is passionate about nurturing our nandocas and strengthening our systems.


ROLE SUMMARY

The Field Trainer is responsible for conducting, facilitating and supporting the design of training programs for employees to enhance their skills, performance, and productivity. The trainer will work closely with various departments to assess training needs, update content, and deliver engaging training sessions to ensure employees are well-equipped to meet the company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong analytical and communication skills, dedicated to fostering a high- performance culture. As a Field Trainer, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure nandocas receive the necessary training to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Assessment:

    • Conduct training needs analysis by consulting with department heads and managers.
    • Identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.

    Program Development:

    • Support in the design and development of comprehensive training programs and materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and hands-on activities.
    • Update training content regularly to ensure it remains current and relevant.

    Training Delivery:

    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions in person, virtually, or through e-learning platforms.
    • Utilize various training methods, such as lectures, workshops, role-playing, and simulations.
    • Evaluation and Feedback:
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.
    • Make necessary adjustments to training methods and materials based on feedback and assessment results.
    • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and progress.
    • Prepare reports on training outcomes and effectiveness for management review.
    • Oversee and manage the process of our managers in training program
    • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with HR and department managers to align training programs with organizational goals.
    • Participate in the development of career pathing and succession planning initiatives.
    • Communication:
    • Communicate cross-functionally to all departments and individuals involved in any training process.
    • Conduct regular restaurant visits and communicate outcomes of observations on customer experience, product quality, and food safety.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required
    • Experience: 2 - 3 years of General Manager experience in restaurant or hospitality.
    • Skills:
    • High level of hands-on knowledge and experience running stations in high volume restaurants
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced computer skills in all Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Ability to become proficient with training software and e-learning platforms (e.g., LMS, Microsoft Teams).
    • Excellent leadership and motivational skills

    Work Environment:

    • This position will require travel up to 80% of the time to different restaurant locations or training venues across all of Canada; including but not limited to BC, Alberta, and Ontario.
    • 30% of the time will be split among different administrative needs such as but not limited to training material updates or LMS administration.
    • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate training schedules across various time zones; at times including nights or weekends.
